Library telescope dedication on Tuesday, 4/17 at 7 p.m.
Good news: on Tuesday, April 17 you can learn to use a basic telescope. Join John C. Root of Aldrich Astronomical Society in our Program Room for a quick tour of a basic scope and stargazing hints and tips. Start time is 7 p.m. Everyone is invited.
Better news: Starting Wednesday, April 18, library cardholders 18 years or older can borrow the library's telescope for astronomical discoveries of their own! We offer an Orion StarBlast #9814 4.5" Altazimuth Reflector Tabletop Telescope (with instruction book and transport tote) for you to borrow for up to 3 weeks (21 days).
More information will be available on the Library website (http://www.boltonpubliclibrary.org) starting Tuesday 4/17.
