A guest speaker at Fort Devens Museum on Saturday, March 18th, will describe a new dimension of the old adage that a man is a dog’s best friend. Lauren Burbridge, Director of Operation Delta Dog, will describe how the non-profit organization saves homeless dogs and trains them to serve as companions to combat Veterans. The program begins at 1:00 PM at the museum, located on the third floor at 94 Jackson Road, Devens.

Department of Agricultural Resources before joining Operation Delta Dog as Executive Director. She is committed to “ending animal homelessness and promoting benefits of human/animal relationships.
