Celebrate the reopening of
Nashoba Valley Technical High School's
Advanced Manufacturing Program
Wednesday, August 24, 2016
at 4 p.m.
The ribbon cutting ceremony will include welcoming remarks, tours of the newly renovated program area and its high-tech advanced manufacturing equipment, and light refreshments.
Nashoba Valley Technical High School recently received a $500,000 grant as part of the Massachusetts Workforce Skills Capital Grant Program.* This grant, coupled with additional program upgrades and renovations, has enabled us to update our program with state-of-the-art equipment and renovated space to assist in expanding training opportunities in advanced manufacturing.
Upon re-opening the Advanced Manufacturing Program, NVTHS will continue to leverage partnerships to maximize an increase in skilled workers for those entering this in-demand field.
*Boosting vocational/technical education was one of Governor Charlie Baker's goals upon taking office, and the Workforce Skills Capital Grant Program aligns education, workforce and economic-development strategies across the Commonwealth.
