The high energy Beatles act No Reply returns for a sixth year at the Bull Run, bringing their truly incredible reproduction of the catalog of the Beatles from the very early years to the more complex and instrumentally challenging final albums. While not a look-a-like costume band, the goal of this act is to play Beatles songs from all eras precisely, but with a live energy and sound that perhaps the Beatles could have provided had they been able to perform with today's modern amplification (and not all those screaming young girls drowning them out!). No Reply has always held true to their mantra to perform all the music on stage completely live, with no prerecorded tracks or modern day sequencing equipment. Clearly the reason No Reply employs 7 highly capable, seasoned musicians from the Massachusetts area to accurately play all your favorites with note for note precision and vocal harmonies that are spot on. The show is like listening to Beatles record copies but with a live energy and feel. Mike Bray on keyboards, lead guitar and backing vocals, Tom Bray on keyboard, guitars and backing vocals, Dave Cintollo on guitars and lead vocals, Dan Gorman on lead vocals, Rob Male on bass and lead vocals, Marty Salvatore on percussion and vocals and Artie Testa providing the exact Ringo beats on drums.
There are lots of Beatles covers and tributes but this one is worth seeing if you haven't yet...buy tickets early as they typically sell out!
