Together with the Executive Office of Elder Affairs, the Middlesex County District Attorney’s Office and the Division of Banks, this collaborative multi-agency effort will bring greater awareness and initiative around this issue.

Why you should attend.
- The National Council on Aging estimates that elder financial abuse costs the elder population more than $36.5 billion annually.
- Individuals over the age of 60 make up the largest growing segment of the population and many of them are people you know and work with.
- Perpetrators of elder financial abuse are often family members, friends, or caregivers who have access to personal information and finances.
