As the Autumn equinox hits and the weather gets cooler, we begin to draw energy inward, providing us time to pause, reflect and process what came of the summer growing season. This yin workshop will offer an opportunity to gain perspective, insight, and clarity after the year's growth phase before moving into its dormant period.
Yin yoga is a slower, more meditative practice characterized by gentle postures held for several minutes. These postures are designed to release tension and gently rehabilitate the muscles and connective tissues that make up our joints. Kristen will begin with an introduction on the yin style of yoga and how to safely work with these long holds. This class is suitable for all levels.
