    Job Description
    The Town of Littleton is seeking qualified candidates for several clerical positions: a temporary part time position as Department Clerk for the Planning Board as well as On-Call clerical support positions for multiple Town Boards.

    The position of dept. clerk for the Planning Board is funded through June 30, 2019 and is a total 10 hours per week with some flexibility in schedule.  The On-call dept clerks and clerical staff is varying hours, some nights to take minutes for boards and committees and some day work filling in for absences.  All positions include normal office functions including maintaining department records, classifying and recording information, answering telephone, directing calls, assisting the public by furnishing information and answering inquiries, and resolving minor problems and complaints. Also includes filing, preparing communications, postings and mailings. Knowledge of standard office equipment and computer programs including Word and Excel required. Excellent customer service skills a must. High School Education and four years’ experience in general clerical work required. Knowledge of local government helpful.
