    Job Description

    Summer Music Explorers - June 25-29 and July 9-13; introductory music program for ages 5-9. Program hours 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Before care from 8:00-9:00 and after care 3:00-6:00. Multiple interns needed for supervision of students, creating fun activities and games for students during break periods and before and after care. Assisting teachers in classes and with room setups as needed. High school or college age students eligible. Experience with babysitting, working with young children in camp, church, or school settings a definite plus.

    StageIt! Do It Yourself Musical Revue - July 9-22; students create a jukebox musical. Program hours 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Before care from 8:00-9:00 and after care 4:00-6:00. Additional intern hours may be needed during the week of July 2 for pre-program vocal and acting workshops. Interns needed for supervision of students, providing activities during break periods and before and after care. Assisting teachers in classes and with room setups as needed. Working with students to learn lines, songs, dances. Stage management and assisting with all aspects of the production. College age students who have completed at least the first year of their degree in theater, music, or dance are eligible. 

    Summer Jams - July 16-20; rock music program for ages 10-14. Program hours 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Before care from 8:00-9:00 and after care 4:00-6:00. Interns needed for supervision of students, creating fun activities and games for students during break periods and before and after care. Assisting teachers in classes and with room and equipment setups as needed. College age students who have completed at least the first year of their degree in music are eligible. Background in rock music helpful.

    Summer Day Music - July 23-August 3; two-week instrumental program for ages 8-17. Program hours 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Before care from 8:00-9:00 and after care 4:00-6:00. Interns should also be available for the evening concerts (5:00 and 6:30 pm) on Thursday and Friday of the second week of Summer Day Music. Multiple interns needed for supervision of students, creating fun activities and games for students during break periods and before and after care. Assisting teachers in classes and with room and equipment setups as needed. College age students who have completed at least the first year of their degree in music performance or education are eligible.
