    Job Description
    PROGRAM DIRECTOR CAREER & COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS
    47965 To 47965 (USD) Annually

     

    Provides direction and oversight of Community Based Day and Employment Supports programming by organizing and implementing all community engagement opportunities and oversight of group employment opportunities. An integral piece of the Program Director of Community Connections position will be to establish and maintain relationships within the local community to enhance program offerings and opportunities for participants.

    Position Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm, must have flexibility to work varying hours as needed

    Essential Functions:

     

     

    • Direct supervision of Community Support Coordinators, both CBDS and Group Employment, to deliver service standards of excellence and ensuring operational compliance within assigned program in accordance with federal, state, and agency regulations.
    • Maintains a consistent, predominate presence on-site to offer scheduling and staff support.
    • Oversight of fleet of program vehicles in conjunction with DD of Facilities.
    • Market and seek out community partners to establish relationships and enhance program offerings for CBDS programming.
    • Maintain a current understanding of DOL and labor market trends.
    • Acquire, stabilize and maintain new group employment and volunteer opportunities that mesh with the interests and abilities of individuals supported within program.
    • Oversee programmatic scheduling needs across all functions of Community Based Day and Employment Supports to include maintaining required staffing ratios.
    • Knowledgeable about community resources to better assist individuals served in achieving their goals while seeking to empower and enhance their quality of life.
    • Recruit, hire, and train all staff in accordance with organizational policy, state and federal labor laws
    • Provide leadership to all staff by creating a positive work environment and creating a cohesive team.
    • Administer medication in accordance with MAP regulations.
    • Other duties as assigned.
