Retail services at Nashoba Valley Technical High School are back in business. All retail services are available only when school is in session.

The in-school restaurant, The Elegant Chef, is open to the public 11:30 to 1 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays. Reservations are not needed, but to make one or to obtain a menu, call 978-692-9958. The Elegant Chef is a multiple award-winning restaurant, winning the best entrée category six times in the last 10 years at the Nashoba Valley Chamber of Commerce’s Taste of Nashoba Valley competition, held every March.

The in-school salon, Cosmo Cuts, is open 9 a.m. to noon Wednesdays through Fridays. The salon is also open from 9 a.m. to noon Tuesdays for special groups only. Cosmo Cuts offers shampoos, cuts, conditioning treatments, hair colors, perms, manicures, facials, makeup applications and more at prices far below those of other retail salons. Instructors Donna McMahon and Sheriley Farrand have decades of experience between them, and their upperclass Cosmetology students are prepared to serve local customers with quality hair and nail treatments. To make an appointment, call 978-692-4711, ext. 6142.

The school store, Viking Village Mall, is open from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays. The store sells Nashoba Tech merchandise, including sweatshirts, caps and other clothing items. Marketing instructor Sarah Ricard and her students operate the Viking Village Mall. The in-school branch of the Lowell Five Cent Savings Bank has also reopened. There is an ATM at the branch and another drive-through ATM at the end of Nashoba Tech’s driveway. The bank is open from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. Branch manager Kelli Eliopoulos can be reached at 978-577-0322.

Other retail services Nashoba Tech offers to the public include automotive repair, automotive collision repair and graphic design. Nashoba Tech is a member of the Military Community Covenants Policy, through which current and former military members and their families receive discounted goods and services, including 5 percent off the cost of a Nashoba at Night adult-education class, and 10 percent off the following services: lunch at The Elegant Chef; Cosmo Cuts services; Viking Village Mall merchandise; automotive and automotive collision repairs; graphic-design work; and athletic gate fees.
