Yum: interjection. 1. delicious; tasty; excellent (used to express pleasure, esp. in the taste of food). (Wordsmith)

A feast for the senses, the 8th Annual Taste of Nashoba, held at the Lawrence Academy Gymnasium on March 24th, surpassed expectations once again!

With 30 vendors, the 746 arriving guests were greeted with a spectacular feast for both the eye and the palate that invited exploration from table to table. Frequent "detours" became necessary, however, due to the wafting of tempting aromas, or the glimpse of a special treat just too good to pass by. Neighbors and friends enjoyed a casual evening chatting, sampling, and admiring the considerable culinary talent present in our own small valley.

Guests voted for the "Peoples Choice"; see below for a list of the winners. Once again, Big Brothers Big Sisters volunteered to staff the coat check. With such a great venue and fabulous fare everyone left inspired and full, and armed with a list of places to visit in the next few months.

"...and the 2009 winners are...!"
