Habitat NCM Puts the “UN” in its f-UN-draiser “0.0 UN-Race”
Event at Local Brewing Company
(Acton, MA) July 16, 2019 – No need to be a runner for this race! Habitat for Humanity North Central MA has teamed up with the Bull Spit Brewing Company and sponsor Aubuchon Hardware for its “0.0 Un-Race” event on Thursday, August 15th from 6-9 pm.
You’ll be a winner and get a medal as soon as you cross the Starting Line at the new Bull Spit Brewery, 339 Seven Bridge Road in Lancaster. The Entrance Fee is just $25.00 and includes admission to the event, a swag bag, finisher medal and raffle tickets. Individuals can register for the event at ncmhabitat.org.
Participants are invited to enjoy wine and small-batch brewed specialty beers created by the Bull Spit Brewing Co. And just in time to toast the 50th Anniversary of Woodstock, event goers can rock out to the sounds of the 1960s Woodstock cover band Workingman’s Band. There will also be door prizes, a raffle, and local food trucks serving up scrumptious street grub!
All proceeds from the event fee will go towards the current build projects slated by Habitat for Humanity North Central MA. Work has started on two, 3-bedroom, 1½ bath homes on two lots on Lake Shore Drive in Ashburnham, as well as a number of critical home repair projects in local communities. The event will also feature Habitat’s “Sign-A-Stud” where attendees can put their signature or other well wishes on a 2X4 pine stud that will be used as part of the construction of the two homes in Ashburnham.
