Saturday March 16 at 1:00 PM Museum Open 10 AM to 3 PM
The story of the ill-fated U.S.S. Indianapolis will be the subject of the Saturday, March 16, 2019, program at the Fort Devens Museum. Once again the Museum's raconteur of sea stories, Bob Begin, returns to tell the story of this United States ship, with a proud record, ending up torpedoed and sunk all alone in the Pacific Ocean as World War II was winding down.
