Learn how to make your own probiotic naturally fermented condiments. Harvest farm fresh veggies with Gibbet Hill farmer, Kayleigh and then work with Gibbet Hill Grill’s Executive Chef, Brendan, to learn how to prepare and ferment your harvest. Later Chef Brendan will prepare a farm fresh picnic lunch. Students bring home their own ferments to enjoy.
The class will be held rain or shine on the farm. Please wear clothing appropriate for the weather, and wear shoes appropriate for the weather and sturdy enough for walking in and around the farm. Tools will be provided for hands-on activites, but please bring gloves that is your preference for garden work.
