Juston McKinney Comedy
7-21-2018It’s been a busy year for Juston McKinney, having just filmed aShowtime Special, “Unsportsmanlike Comedy,” with Rob Gronkowski, performed live at the TD Garden with
Denis Leary & Jimmy Fallon as part of “Comics Come Home” and shot his new special “Parentally Challenged.”
Juston consistently sells out theaters, has two Comedy Central Specials, multiple appearances on the Tonight Show, and onConan O’Brien.
Juston grew up living on the border of New Hampshire and Maine but in the late 1990’s he moved to NYC to pursue a career in stand-up comedy. He quickly worked his way into the weekend line-up at Comic Strip Live, Stand-Up New York,Dangerfield’s, Gotham and Carolines on Broadway.
The New York Times called him, “Destined for stardom.” Juston would go on to sign sitcom development deals with Warner Brothers, CBS, IFC and Comedy Central.
His TV credits include; The King of Queens, and the Sidney Lumet drama 100 Centre Street. His movie credits includeThe Zoo Keeper and Here Comes the Boom. Juston also wrote, created and starred in the web series Hosed, about a volunteer fire department in the fictitious town of Effingwoods, NH. It caught the eye of Denis Leary and his production company, Apostle. Juston then wrote the pilot and it was sold to IFC.
When NH magazine named him Best of NH they wrote, “The Granite State may have more famous comedians than you can shake a stick at (Seth Meyers, Sarah Silverman and Adam Sandler to name a few) but no one really “gets” New Hampshire humor quite like Juston McKinney."
He currently lives in New Hampshire with his wife, kids and dogs.
