Project Redemption Gallery Opening
Fitchburg Art Museum
5:30 - 8:00 p.m.
185 Elm Street, Fitchburg
Join us for a night of inspiration as we celebrate people in recovery and address stigma. Project Redemption is a collaboration between Alyssa's Place Peer Recovery and Resource Center and Photography by Veronika Patty. This is a free event with local officials, community members, and participants of the project. Light refreshments will be served.
People in treatment and recovery are our colleagues and neighbors, our parents, grandparents and children, our family and friends. They come from every walk of life, every socio-economic status, and are of any age. They are soldiers, lawyers, and business owners. They are students and teachers. They are people who are often dealing with trauma and mental health conditions, and like every other person they deserve love and respect. There is nothing more precious than human life and it must be protected without hesitation and conditions. Every life matters and everyone should have a chance for redemption.
