    Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
    Concord
     
    Eliot’s Outpatient Clinic in Concord has an opening for a psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide medication evaluation and prescription services to a diverse adult population in a community mental health setting.  Eliot offers a highly supportive and collaborative environment which includes weekly supervision, support with refills, prior authorizations and other administrative tasks as well as a generous benefits package.  New grads are welcome to apply.
     
    Responsibilities:
     
    • Provide medication evaluation, prescription services, and monitoring and administration of psychopharmacologic agents and their side effects to clients.
    • Provide psychopharmacology consultation services to program staff regarding issues of medication and differential assessment of physical versus mental health
    • Develop and implement goal-oriented treatment plans in accordance with Utilization Review standards, sound clinical practice, and in collaboration with the client and clinician
     
    Schedule:  Full or part time, flexible hours available

    Requirements:
     
    Holds a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited university/college and is currently licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing to practice as a licensed Nurse Practitioner, is registered to practice as an Adult Psychiatric & Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from the American Nurses Credentialing Center and the American Board of Nursing Specialties and Board Certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMN, NP-BC) by the American Nurses Association. Maintains a valid registration(s) to issue written oral prescriptions or medication orders for controlled substances from the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and the United States Department of Justice, Drug Enforcement Administration. Maintains current malpractice/liability insurance. Experience in acute psychiatric care required.
