LOCAL WOMEN'S EVENT RAISES $1000 FOR LOCAL BATTERED WOMEN'S SHELTER

Acton, MA, June 18, 2019 – Women who take care of themselves and stay connected to one another are incredibly resourceful. Last Thursday night, June 13th, Drs. Pamela Jarboe and Lauren Yeager of Community Chiropractic along with Lisa Medora, Licensed Massage Therapist and Debbie Ward, Certified Health & Life Coach invited local women from Acton and surrounding towns to a memorable night at Great Spaces, Acton 245 Arlington, Acton, MA. The event was co-sponsored by Community Chiropractic, Acton Pharmacy, RealShades.com, Scheier Katin & Epstein, Nashoba Valley Chamber, Eat-In-Good Health, Big Hill Movers, Silver Unicorn Bookstore and Illuminate Music.

The women learned about health challenges unique to women and the five W’s of self-care to up-level wellness, positivity and happiness in your life. “It is amazing to watch what happens when great women come together. The local business women helped one another, the guests took care of themselves better which created resources for women who need their help at the shelter. It was spectacular.”, said Dr Pam Jarboe, one of the hostesses of the night. Participants enjoyed all the incredible food prepared by Eat In Good Health, a healthy meal service for busy women and families. There were  hor d'oeuvres, music, wine, and free raffles and giveaways donated by local businesses. The event was thrilled to announce that it raised $1000 for House of Hope, a women’s shelter in Lowell.
