RBT Celebrates 20 Years of its Holiday Giving Program
Every holiday season since 1998, Rollstone Bank & Trust has been providing its customers free calendars and gift envelopes, and asked for a donation in exchange. Between customer and Bank donations, nearly $80,000 has been raised for a variety of organizations fulfilling a range of needs.
“Through this program, we have been able to provide much needed resources to veterans, those in need of food, fuel assistance programs, and children in transition,” said Lori E. Kelly, 1st Vice President, Branch Administrator. “Our Retail staff does a great job raising awareness of our efforts in the branches, and our customers are always incredibly generous.”
This year’s chosen cause was local food pantries, and collections were divided equally among food pantries in each of the towns where the Bank maintains an office – Fitchburg, Leominster, Harvard, Townsend, and Worcester. In addition to the calendar program, the branches also served as toy collection sites for a locally-based veterans group, and the John Fitch office had a Giving Tree set up for The Arc Of Opportunity.
