FORT DEVENS MUSEUM VETERANS DAY OPEN HOUSE NOVEMBER 12

Buffalo Soldiers Heritage, Inc., will present an exhibition of limited edition art prints depicting African American soldiers serving this country. Group members wearing the 1866 US Army uniform representing the 9th and 10th Calvary (USCT) Regiments will be available to discuss history from the Colonial Wars to modern day. Exhibit will be on display all day.
Three programs will be held throughout the day: The history of African American soldiers & desegregation of the Army; Lowell-area Armenian-American oral history project; and personal memories of growing up in Germany during WWII and later marrying an American soldier and moving to the US. Program times to be determined.
