Wingmasters: North American Birds of Prey
Birds of prey, also known as raptors, are hunting birdscharacterized by hooked beaks and powerful grabbing feet armed with sharp talons. This presentation, which includes five live birds, offers an overview of the four categories of raptor species: eagles, hawks, falcons, and owls. Come learn from expert Wingmasters as they explain predation, the birds' place on the top of the food web, different hunting adaptations, and their status in a rapidly changing world.
